Solution Focused Hypnotherapy combines Hypnotherapy with elements of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). They can achieve results that aren’t possible from hypnotherapy or counselling alone.

This doesn’t involve analysis or seek to find the underlying cause of the problem! Instead, we focus on how you want to feel, what you want to overcome, and what wonderful things you will be doing once the problem is resolved and overcome it.

This creative process uses a different part of your brain to help you focus on creating your Preferred Future, and then helps you keep that future picture firmly in the front and centre of your mind. It is a Brain based therapy I will give you a thorough understanding how the brain works, helping you understand exactly why your feeling the way you are and empowering you to make changes.

Hypnosis is a very natural, relaxing state, and is very ordinary in many ways, it’s encouraged by using guided relaxation, where the mind can relax and focus gaining access to the subconscious mind.

Anxiety and stress

Anxiety and stress is a natural response that everyone will feel from time to time.

Everyone experiences stress and anxiety at some point in their lives. A bit of stress is normal and helpful sometimes, but too much stress can take its toll.

Stress can affect how you feel, think, behave and how your body works – from how well you sleep to your immune system, long-term stress puts your health at risk.

It can be that you’re suffering with stress that is related to a specific event? for example, it could be you have a job interview coming up or a presentation in work, these are all things Hypnotherapy can help you with by lowering your stress levels this allows us to feel calmer and more relaxed and get a better perspective about the event itself.

Perhaps your issues are more long term and your stress levels are having a effect upon your life in general, perhaps you are not sleeping well at night? Perhaps you are constantly having arguments with those around you? Or perhaps you are beginning to take significant amount of time away from work or maybe your studies. Stress also leads to overthinking because our mind is frantically seeking a solution.

A lack of self belief can lead to anxiety! Performance anxiety in sport is where the stress and pressure that comes with competitive sports leads to a decrease in performance.
This stress can arise for many reasons, from the pressure of having an audience watch you to feelings of self-doubt when faced with a tough opponent. The huge pressure to achieve and the worries about failing not only yourself but everyone who has supported you, can severely impact performance.
Self confidence can effect performance so it’s possible to improve your self-esteem to the point that you believe you’re worthy of being a winner 🏆
